Sister Gail is principal of an elementary school in St. Louis and is at the center of everything in the school. For the portrait I setup a strobe with a grid spot to light just her face with a slow shutter to capture the blur of students around her.
I found my way here from Katie's blog (she came to Dancing Rabbit and I've been following her photos ever since). This is BEAUTIFUL! I love the movement - so perfect for a principal, to be orbited by children (who seem to be) moving faster than the speed of light!

Very nice pic Fred. It truly captures the life of a principal!
